Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

When selecting a body it doesn't show the cD. Not sure if that is just with latest patch or if i never noticed before. Also the exploit where selecting basic or Standard safety package then lowering the quality to minimum nets you a lower weight than with no safety package still exists.

Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

Not getting engine sounds on my 1940's 2.0L Inline 4 on the test tracks.
Not a biggy I know you're still working on this.

However I did notice that after making a new trim for this model, when I went back to the original trim...
I had chosen the light blue preset colour, and then used the colour square to make it Navy Blue.
After making the new trim in a different colour, when I went back to look at the first trim It had defaulted back to the default blue, not the navy I had dragged it to.

Otherwise things are working well for me so far, still getting used to the new, but better way of trim editing.

Keep up the good work guys, things are coming along nicely <3

Truly,
Tex

P.S. No error notices generated, just gameplay issues.

Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

Same car with Inline 6 makes engine sound on test track no problem.
However generates error: "Unable to load engine, it is too big."
However. it only shows yellow on the length meter, and does in fact load the motor and runs properly. (it is one tick within the limit by manipulating bore and stroke to get best displacement for engine bay size.)
The 2.0 I4 I used was just the deafult bore x stroke of 86.0 x 86.0

Tex

Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

Hey guys,

first off just got the game and its brilliant. absolutely amazing.

Anyways, getting the Lua error whenever im working in "engine scenarios".
I can select one but whenever I click back i have to alt tab and close the LUA error box. game still works though.
Also had difficulty with playing a scenario. only tried the Kazakh tutorial but had total bomb out.

hope this helps
Keep up the great work

Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

Found an other nil value:
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--client\functional\TrimDesignerWindowDelegat..."]:2159: attempt to index local 'fixtures' (a nil value)

Can off course send car file :)

Re: Open Beta (B150619+) Bug Reports

I had the drive type error when i create a new trim for a car, and then select the engine without selecting the drive type.

Now with the new patch, it seems to work fine...i can't go for the trim tab without selecting the drive type first...

When I save a car, and I will open now, the fixtures dissapear.

I think that thiis is due to the two fixtures selectors.

Could that have to do with (broken) mods?

Excellent! Would be great if this indeed is fixed. :)

Please check the OP, I explain how it should work there. Still a bug?

---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--shared\functional\SANDBOX_DATA\CEngineCalcu..."]:96: attempt to index field 'FactoryInfo' (a nil value)

You can CTRL+C on this to report it.
