That's not true IMO. I stated in my reply (http://www.automationgame.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6334) when you original mentioned that you were of the opinion that the "New" and "Choose buttons were unnecessary that I agreed the "New button was unnecessary, but the "Choose" button is needed because without it we lose the table with all the engine stats, which is sometimes very handy. I'd really like to have the Choose button back for that reason.
I also suggest that the engine drop-down display engines that don't fit in red.

Until then, you are correct, but in the long run it will not be needed. Considering how much the choose button complicated the car building logic, we stand with the choice we made, although it is not perfect and will need improvements.

But I think I have found a bug: it seems everytime I start my game, that a lot of my engines are gone.
For example: I had 10 engine trims, restart the game: 2 engine trims.

Uh oh, not that stuff again :s did this happen when building engines only or when building engines as a part of a car? Did you change years?

I had actually done that when looking to reinstall the mods I had before the new update/open beta but when I opened it up I found the mods I had were still there. They just weren't being read by the game for some reason. Am I looking in the wrong place as far as where to put mods now compared to before, or will I not be able to use any until Workshop?

For example when you increase the quality on the engine components tab and you increase the quality the price off the engine decreases. I am assuing something is broken with that. The stats go up but the price goes down. I noticed this prior to the beta as well, but I assumed someone had already seen it by now. Really loving the V6's though. Thank you for this game.

No, that is perfectly in order. The cost you are referring to is the material cost, which goes down when components decrease in weight because you use less of the same material. Cheers!
