Hmm, 200 banshees are missing off the production line and there's a lot of noise and cackling coming from the CPV shed...

Re: Centauri Industries (new cars for MY 2005 end of page 4+

Because the boys and girls who live out in the CPV shed can't keep their hands to themselves, those 200 Banshees were kidnapped from the factory line and taken away for experiments. I told them midway through testing that whatever they did back there, the cars would still have to be both sellable and presentable on the show room floor. the result was actually rather astonishing, leaving the body and interior totally stock the engineers reworked the engine down to just 5 liters of displacement and fitted a pair of turbochargers pushing 16psi of boost through the engine, bumping it's output way up to 800hp. I give you the Banshee CPV-R.
0-60mph: 2.9 seconds
1/4 mile: 10.26@141mph
Top speed: 218mph
Transmission: 6 speed sequential, mid engine AWD, geared LSD
Powerplant: 800hp twin turbocharged 5 liter 24 valve DOHC MPFI V8 running on premium 95 ron
Total cost: $18751
Dealer price: $65,000* (plus $2100 gas guzzler tax)

Front to back the Comet is a study in "love it or hate it" designs, if nothing else we wanted it to stand out in a parking lot.

Re: Centauri Industries New hatchback from 1995 the Neutrino

New for 1995 the Centauri Neutrino, shown here in base DX, and the hardcore R trim levels. Pricing starts at $14,500 for the DX, $15,500 for the FX, then $19,500 each for the three top end trim levels; the LS luxury model, GS gran sport, and the R aimed at enthusiasts. All Neutrinoare front wheel drive with an aluminum frame and feature light weight dent resistant polymer panels, all are equipped with technologically advanced Hades 4 cylinder engines. A 1.6L with 100hp in the DX and FX, returning a average US MPG of 47 and 45 respectively, a 1.8L with 158hp in the LS returning 45mpg, a 184hp 1.8L in the GS returning 39mpg, and an amazing 211hp 2.0L in the R that still returns 39mpg. both the GS and R are zippy little performers than can hold their own against much more expensive rivals on the track and yet retain the streetability, economy, and practicality of a everyday hatchback. Come take a test drive and see which one is right for you, thoughts comments, and opinions welcome.

*edit* after some litigation the Centauri Quark has been renamed to the Neutrino here is the new export folder with the updated name. also included is a new trim, the TURBO with 291hp from a boosted version of the 2.0 in the R, the turbo has comparable street performance as the GS and R but is equipped with only 2 seats allowing a far higher amount of interior space and comfort. Getting a still respectable 34mpg the TURBO can be yours for $23,000

Re: Centauri Industries (new cars for MY 2005 end of page 4+

I have to ask you if there is a way that the 6.1 Hellfire will fit into that Comet's engine bay at all -

To me, aside from weight and a bit of economy, it's a better engine in every way than the Hellfire V8 you have in there - especially considering the power difference. Couple that with the lower final price from having much lower production units... I'm curious if this could work out...

Re: Centauri Industries (new cars for MY 2005 end of page 4+

It doesn't , the sixxer is a a little more than half its size and you can see its already a dark yellow for the lenght fit. The hellfire is a very good engine if it can fit, but not many car hoods are sized for engines that are nearly 3 feet long.
