Crown Vics are a ball to hoon. I will own one as a dd someday and a bonus they take all the horsepower upgrades that a modular Mustang takes. On Manual swaps are cake

Re: Body Suggestions

An American muscle car will certainlky be needed, so a basis of a Dodge Viper or Corvette might be cool.

Re: Body Suggestions

Hi guys,it's my first post in here,I thought in suggesting an 90s supermini called the "Gurgel BR800".

Image
The BR800 was manufactered by Gurgel, the one and only 100% Brazilian manufacter who went bankrupt in the late 90s and is now defunct. It used an 2cylinder air-cooled engine called the "Enertron",which was an VW Bug engine cut in half :D
The bodywork was made out of polyester-reinforced plastic, which was cheap and easy to manufacter. The BR800 was the Tucker Torpedo from Brazil,it had a lot of controversy both on the launch and when the company went bankrupt. Although the car wasn't really a beauty,it was really practical, because of the small engine and the small size it was perfect for the Brazilian cities.

(Funny fact:In the 80s, Gurgel made an entirely eletric supermii called the "Itaipu",along other cars,Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurgel )

EDIT: Orthography error :D (I'm from Brazil,btw)

Re: Body Suggestions

That's great. Good old Gurgel might not have been a genius of the design, but had visionary ideas. For example, he was against the use of ethanol or any other biofuel in cars: land should be used for growing food, he said.

Are you Brazilian? Just curious, the Gurgel is not really famous outside Brazil...

That was one fact I didn't know... Interesting,I kinda agree, but ethanol also allows us to extract more from an engine with more compression rs...

GM concept drawings of the 1930s and 1940s, might make for some good ideas.

Re: Body Suggestions

What if.... An interesting site imagining some new scenarios for various cars and makes.
http://www.whatifcars.com/gallery/What-If-Cars

Example:
Image
"What If" Pontiac had been allowed to offer a car based on the Corvette? Pontiac styling cues include grille, taillights, and ornamentation. With a modified chassis it would have accommodated Pontiacs Fuel injected, 310 h.p. 370cube V8. Takers anyone?

Image
"What If" American Motors had continued to build the huge Nash Ambassador for 1958? Updating a shell from 1952 would have been tricky. Compound wrap front and rear glass would have been 1 year ahead of the industry. Lengthening the headlight pods, rear quarters via tail fins, and fender skirts give the car a longer and lower look.
