Challenge to Nialloftara

After noticing that you are a big fan of muscle cars, push rods and big engines, I decided to do a challenge that doesn't allow you to use any of that

So, you need to develop a small hatchback, with a four cylinder engine and a turbo charger that can beat a Corvette C6 around the airfield track, but it still need to be useful, comfortable, economical and cheap.

I'll keep limitations to a minimum, as I think this is a hard challenge in itself.

Limitations

• Front transverse layout
• You need to use the modern small hatchback body
• 4 cylinder engine no bigger than 2000cc
• Must be turbocharged
• A catalytic converter
• No semi slick tyres

Minimum stats

• Reliability over 70
• Comfort above 35
• Safety above 33
• Economy better than 5.0 litres/100km (47 mpg US)
• Price no more than $15000
• And crucially, a time around the airfield of less than 1:26.8

A question, I can't change the Auto box spacings, but I can swap out the auto for a manual box. If I do that can I alter it's spacings?

Yes, just to allow for swapping in different car's gearboxes.
