Hi!
I'm Zephyroth, maybe Pyrlix mentioned me. I was the one who pointed out the different racing exhaust manifolds on V8 engines (flat-plane, cross-plane). He mentioned, that it is possible to be an beta tester on Automation.
I'm a real petrol head, not in terms that I own many cars or tune them, but I love technics. And a car is the best way to show other, what technics can do. You need mechanical engineering, electronics, thermodynamics etc. It's a huge playground. Because of that, I always want to know how things work. With the years I build up a huge knowledge about cars, especially engines. I can support on fuel system, ignition, valve lift and timing, turbo and supercharging, exhausts etc.
I'm not a programmer, nor a engine designer (I'm electronic engineer). That means I can't program or calculate engines. But I know how it mechanically and electronically works. How it has to look like. How it behaves. I know many engines and their specification (in fact, I rebuild all of my inline 4 engines I've ever owned in automation, the values fit very good), therefore I can test engines and scenarios in a proper way.
It would be a honor for me to join the tester team to improve Automation, as is going to be a great game for every petrol head...
Greetz,
Zeph
PS.: I'm from Austria (Europe), but English is no problem. I work in a big semiconductor company, where english is a must...
