Re: 2016 Automation Chicago Auto Show (13.02 - 21.02)
You might remember the astonishing 1971 Diamond Emerald, of which the Gold trim was the new standard for performance and luxury. We have here a perfectly preserved example from our museum, in Dark Emerald. With our 5.3L V8 mounted into a mid-engined body, we created the ultimate supercar and subsequently ended its production after one generation.

I'm sure you've seen the teaser at the 2015 Mondial de l'Automobile and Tokyo Motor Show and heard all the invited journalists raving about it. Without further detail, it is now time to fully unveil to the public...

...the 2016 Diamond Emerald! We have finally revived this historic nameplate for the 2016 model year in celebration of 45 years since the introduction of this model. We made sure to include styling cues from the original while keeping the design entirely modern. The Gold trim here features our all-new 4.5L V8 that will make its way into our entire lineup, but don't expect the turbocharged variant to be available in the next Opal or Obsidian. Producing 752 hp and 604 ft-lb of torque, the 7-speed sequential transmission and AWD bring it from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and to a top speed of 353.8 km/h. Naturally, this is combined with a hand-crafted interior of leather and alcantara for the ultimate experience of performance and luxury. The Emerald's styling also previews our new design direction. It will go on sale this summer and starting at $235,000, with a performance-oriented Titanium trim to follow sometime next year. Visit our information booth for a brochure and pre-order information.

I agree, looks very elegant. I love it when standard fixtures are combined to create completely different shapes.
Vent-Exhausts would have fitted that back perfectly.

I unfortunately couldn't get a decent look from vents for what I wanted to do. So oval exhausts it was

Haha, thanks for opinion. But hey, what do you expect from high-quality flagship model which probably would cost you in refueling more than your MX-5 in total?

BTW. CEO saw Barney (this bearded guy in leather jacket having fun in Knossos V8 when testing switches and touchpad was the CEO) and his reaction was like "kurwa, co to za debil?" (mild translation: Fuck, who is this idiot? - sorry, polish XDD)

Inside everything was black. But dimly lit by a couple of spotlights there was this standing in the middle:

No plaque with text; no announcements, no interviews, nothing. Not even a name. But people knew that JSC had not yet presented anything for the company's 70th anniversary...
Echoing on the hallway is a rumour though, that this could in fact be a pre-production prototype of JSC's next-generation hypercar. One reporter swore he had seen this beast
on the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago, but he had had a quite a few pints of local beer so who knows...?
