8L was not gonna cut it anyways, unless you can do magic. Lap time is first priority, then fuel consumption.

Also tank size is not dependant on fuel consumption, but car weight (weight/10). So heavier cars get a small advantage, though it's probably payed for in more consumption.
Small cars with high fuel consumption get the most pit stops, but are faster.

I'm saying that the small tank will kill me as my car is under 1000kg in weight, so has a very, very small tank.

Re: AVUS Grosser Preis von Berlin 91 (1000km) TAKING SUBMISS

No your fuel consumption to weight is great actually, you are close to 0 stops (though still in low 1.-ish range). Unfortunately there is a huge problem with total expense per car :(

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding, 1000kg is not that great (better look at 700-800)

But if you can fix the budget that car is a great leap forward, and the matte finish makes you a few tenths faster still.

I'm topping out at 360, but there's quite a bit of road left to possibly take the car to 380, and it's an aerodynamic problem. I am beating last years' lap times, sure, but I am fairly certain that this year everybody will be faster, so I got a ways to go.

My car has become EVEN LIGHTER (Around 130kg loss of weight.) as I made a mistake with my vehicle. It has about the same HP. Around a 0.5 kg/hp ratio

Well done, 80,000$ less and laptime is not much affected. You still need to increase cooling though.

Yes, cars will definitely be faster than last year, just scale up the performance of the increased displacements

Exactly what I thought of. I am guessing fuel consumption will also go up comparing to last year, but it's not my main problem. I've just hit that wall of not being able to push past 360. Going to re-work the turbochargers, I'm not happy with my torque curve past 9k rpm.
Also now that I've done the visuals in vanilla, I realize how limited the stock game is in terms of car design.

Minimalism is what you have to do for Vanilla. No Stupid flappy bits and what not, just vent, light done.

Through which I am supposed to go with more power, I know. I am reworking the forced induction on my engine at this moment.

Yes, afaik every extra hp makes you a little bit faster. But don't underestimate the influence of the cassis Cd value.

Re: AVUS Grosser Preis von Berlin 91 (1000km) TAKING SUBMISS

Well, this sux, I cannot make anything go even near fast enough!

The best I've seen is 325km/h-ish for a C50 car... Which class was that car which is attempting to better 360Km/h?

I only ask because I'm feeling rather frustrated atm and I need some yardsticks to gauge whether I'm in the ballpark or not,

I'm getting around 450hp from my 1.2l turbocharged V6 currently, but my consumption is pretty awful. Now to put it in a car...

Do we have a chart of Cd values? Cause I'm using the "not MR2" body, and it looks like it's a brick

P.S: The 360+ class is c60

A short reminder to all, dont forget to state your nationality and company name, it looks ugly if I have to leave those open.

Vri404 and CadillacDave were ok, but Spax for example did not.
