I think Der Bayer's BRC stuff is set to read from the files you submit, and while it is probably possible to change it by editing the LUA file, I doubt he's going to want to do it by hand when he has a handy tool for you to make it already so.

I already did resub my final car and I changed my number their, I was just notifying everyone that my number is now 29

Edit: If I have my cooling set to just above the engine overheating so that it doesn't overheat in game, does that mean that it will raise the chance of an engine failure?

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [BUILD]

So I saw ConeDodger play Automation and do this challenge, so I finally decided to pick it up and give it a try. I'm a sucker for challenges and inline sixes, so I will be racing with engines that have at least one row of six cylinders.

Anyways, my entry, coming in somewhere around 2:24 at ATT flat is the RPR Daytona SuperSport with a Silk 1.5L, 48V, DOHC V12 engine revving to the moon and back.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to the probably least beginner friendly challenge of all, everybody is in here, and everybody is doing their damned best to be competetive :D You've picked a nice start.

Well, everybody being competitive except me, because it's more about having fun than winning for me this time, and why not enter a communist piece of crap?

I wasn't using a communitasia.
I was using a generic commie-car I made myself, then tuned it up.

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [BUILD]

Well I did some tweaks to my car. I found some safety, kept weight pretty much the same, found a few tenths of time to get the car into the 2:20.xx range at ATT, and even got fuel economy and the top speed to increase. I didn't really abuse quality sliders in my last version, but I was much more selective with them in this version and it definitely paid off. I'm just hoping that my strategy works out. The competition has been intense thus far and I think this season will be astounding based on the vast number of entries.

Ok screw it, I don't have time to resubmit. If there are two number 4 cars that's okay with me

Good racing and godspeed!
