Still mostly a non contender, but thanks to an engineering exchange with Baltazar, after providing specifications for a race car chassis that LHE could not afford to build, Baltazar provided LHE with a race engine that they had no car to stick it in.

Yes.

Just noticed that cars that didn't meet the threshold of damage never got fixed. I don't want my car running with 55 damage the whole race, I only made sure an extra pit stop wasn't going to be needed. Like in f1 when there is minimal front wing damage, the car isn't pitted immediately, but they still get it changed on the next stop. Is there a way to amend this?

Small damage should still be fixed during regular stops. Maybe not completely, but they should work on the car until tyres are changed and refuelling is finished. Where and when and for whom did that not work? I think this is working.

There are many questions for me now.
Biggest WTF is:
my car used 41,8kg of fuel in total in the race. I've setup a pitstop strategy of 1 Stop at 50%. Yet it starts with fuc***** 40kg of fuel??????

Calm down. Your stop was set up at around 60%. Average fuel consumption was 1.48 kg/lap in the dry. With a lap time of 2:27 it is expected to go 37 laps (plus 2 lap safety margin equals 39 laps) -> whole race estimation 65,5 lg with 2kg + 10% safety margin. -> 60% of that -> around 40 kg. That's your start fuel. What the hell can I do that there is a big storm during the whole race and the car does not need as much fuel?

No, that's not how it is supposed to work.

The way it is supposed to work is:

Fuel amount is always as much as neccessary until next stop or race end.

(...plus a two-lap margin of safety, I believe.)

That's why I think there's a bug in the program that reduces fuel use in the rain.

It is not a bug. You cannot step on the gas in the wet as hard as in dry conditions. Fuel consumption comes directly from throttle position. Plus of course speeds are lower in general, so it is possible that cars are not running at very high revs as long as in the dry.
