Time for another thrilling race, this time at Shanghai International Circuit (IMO one of the weirdest looking layout circuits)

After the last 2 events, it's hard to tell what is going to happen in this race. Although looking at the qualification times below, it seems like the track is going to be really hard on the AGTE cars, at least in time and speed, but let's remember the advantageous 90 liters fuel tank that the AGTE cars have.
The Zeus was the overall fastest car, which means a 1st position from the beggining (and the Sepang 3rd), that doesn't look good for Kraft Haus Technik or Smooth Racing. The M8-R, the RRSX-R and the Adelaide appear in the top 10, and maybe they will repeat the last event's surprising performance. And lastly, Il Capo starts 19th, let's just hope that the team have a much better race than last time!
Finally, looking at the times, we can predict a very, very tight race.
Here's the starting grid:

Re: AMWEC '15 [7th race qualification times]

Oh, this could prove problematic! Good performance from both Primas!

I also am surprised at Adelaide performance, 2nd in AGTE class and 8th overall. I was very close to shutting down the KHT Junior racing team effort in AMWEC due to more money spent than results produced.

I hope that Patricia will land in Top 20 at least - those corners look pretty hard, and I guess that lighter cars will get advantage here.

Adelaide's P:W ratio is a lot worse than most cars in the field, so this just confirms that the track favours cornering, not acceleration

Re: AMWEC '15 [7th race qualification times]

The turn 1-2-3 is definitely the most unusual corner... a tightening right followed by a hairpin left that loosens on the exit. The braking point for that one's going to be hell to figure out, especially in traffic. It's ripe for a race incident... reminds me of the blind first corner after the end of the finishing straight in Macau (like a mix between San Fran street and Monaco), which has this runoff because it's a street circuit and the turn's on a street that goes straight but has a right turn in it after a loooooooooong straight... somebody crashes every single time and if you don't get on the brakes early you'll get involved in a massive pileup and the race gets red-flagged xD

And now 2 winnings for Meliora Automotive :D
We're far away from winning any title, but these victories taste good  Now if we can only win once in the AGTE class...
