Entries are due tomorrow! Just try to get them in before Saturday. I won't be too strict with this, but on the other hand I'd like to avoid getting most of my submissions several days from now, lol.

I haven't been able to work on my car since last week, so I will try to get my car in sometime this weekend, if I have time to finish it.

I can always just extend the deadline if enough people agree to it. It doesn't matter to me when this starts. I just want to avoid giving some folks excessive due date extensions that may seem unfair to people who would've made further tweaks if they got an extension as well, but if everyone gets an extension that's fine. In fact, if I get 4 or more people asking for an extension tomorrow, consider the deadline extended.

I'm cool with allowing a day or two extra, say Sunday the 24th for instance. Merely because my game drive went down, luckily I had back-ups of almost everything except, of course, my automation cars which has been a big bummer. I've only been rebuilding the last couple days. I might have it finished tonight, but an extra day or two would be a relief.

I've extended the due date to Monday. I can extend it even further if desired. As long as the majority of participants are cool with it, I can make changes. I was a little more of a stickler for keeping things locked in when the entry cap was larger, but with a 10 participant maximum I think changes are easier to make.

I actually have quite a bit of wiggle room with the deadline, since it seems like a lot of people are having issues finding time to get their cars in I can even bump it all the way back to Friday or even more. The whole "avoid getting entries a few days from Friday" thing was more about getting a bunch of late entries without being notified ahead of time. As long as everyone is on the same page, I don't care when these cars get submitted. I feared extending the due dates might have made some people begin to worry if the race series would ever get off the ground, but if its just up to me and you guys are fine with it I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule at the moment. If you have any sort of difficulties with the deadlines/rules/etc. just let me know. Looking back on my posts throughout this thread I'm making myself seem a lot more closed off to changes than I really am, lol. I'm just not 100% on how to run these things yet and I wasn't sure how easy it would be to get everyone the same page with due date extensions or other changes. I didn't want to scare people off by changing too much.

Let's put it this way, as long as I can get these entries before the next update, it's fine. I'll extend it right up until open beta if needed, but for now I'm extending the deadline again to Friday since it seems some people were only able to get a day or two to work on their cars.

i also would like a deadline extension as i...... well have either right now. or tuesday to build my car... in which the former might result in a rather half assed submission.
