So i'm having a pretty frequent issue...

i'll boot up automation and get through all the screens and what not and then notice that my mouse cursor is about 10-20 pixels higher than where the game thinks my cursor is...

which with all the vertically oriented menus with small rows makes it a little hard to use the engine designer.

usually closing and restarting to game fixes it but it happens almost 9 times out of 10.

Just wondering - what resolution are you running at?

seems to work more often when i'm on my laptops internal 15" screen and less well when using my 19" monitor (both are 1400x900)

@timmmccoy: Yes, this is a known issue and a pretty bad one. We are working on fixing it!

When in Engine Designer, It says the max HP from Mechanical Injection is 5655hp? Whereas EFI is a sound 420 something hp.

Much of the same I had yesterday.
I am playing in 1280x720 Windowed at a 1366x768 15,4" Notebookscreen
System is a i3-330M, 4Gb Rams and a HD5650m

Yesterday, I attempted to run the demo in windowed mode. My screen's native resolution is 1920x1080. I set the demo to run at 1600x900. The demo started fine, I moved it slightly off center on my screen, and then I noticed that it was registering my mouse cursor as being several hundred pixels above where it actually was. (Getting back to the options to adjust the resolution back to 1920x1080 non-windowed was therefore challenging!) This persisted after a quit and restart. However, once I returned to full-screen at the native resolution, the problem went away. I have not fiddled with windowed mode anymore since.

I just noticed a graphical bug with the mechanical injection belt tucked into the engine.
Besides that, didn't have any problem with this, well...
words are not enough to describe how great this game is and will be

EDIT : crashes on alt-tab (doing it in tutorial menu) and while watching tutorials, got more problems :
TOP END : -cam tutorial : loud sound, graphical bug with cam and spring
-head material : cut off
-if been in other tutorial menu, last video in last menu showing in but not selectable (intake, flywheel)
FUEL SYSTEM : -intake : cut off ?
-muffler : a little cut off
-same video text problem as the top end tutorial menu (intake/menu showing)
Also, got glitch with twin DCOE carburettors standard intake not completely sticked to the engine
Oh and, noticed a little weird line on the rotating logo on the loading screen...

Changed the RPM limit down a notch and this happened, retest and it works fine. Also note how it shows the power and torque at 1000 RPM and not 7300 or whatever much it is up there.

Maybe you are selecting Throttle per cylinder MI vs. single throttle EFI?

I'm trying the Kei Scenario, and when I try to set the first muffler, i get this error:

Step() failed!: [string"..."]:1217: attempt to index local 'catSetup' (a nil value)

I can say "retry" and then the game resumes - though only untill I try and set the muffler to something again.

Have you selected a catalytic converter?

I believe I had, though changing some setting on the engine did make the problem go away. I'll see if I can recreate it later if necessary, I managed to replicate it twice.

Heyya! Yes, the "String 1217" crash-bug is a known issue that will be fixed in the upcoming patch

Hey Guys,

nice piece of game so far

Noticed a mistake by sending engines to the archive. Have to click on << button to move the engine to the right an vice versa.
