Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

Ooh now that's a compliment to our drivers. I can respond to those rumours with the official rosters for our drivers, as, since you may know, Mark Webber is fully committed to Porsche for the FIA WEC next year, having won the championship along with Bernhard and Hartley this year.

ZGG racing alliance drivers:

Test driver: Matteo Marini (ZM group senior tester driver)
Race drivers: Mario Bovolo (ZM pool race driver), Andrea Baldi (ZM pool race driver), Kai Kristensen (Gryphon Gear's sole test and race driver)

You can see the names on the full-sized image of the picture of the car livery a few pages back.

Noteworthy is the fact that up until this year, Kai Kristensen was racing more often than not as a contract driver for other teams, as GG did not have any factory production cars eligible for any of the ratified codes. This will be the first time he has a seat for the season as a factory backed team driver, which was made possible by Znopresk.

Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

@Koolkei: Well it could be worse, they could have driven really well the first race, decided that they have already done they best they could do and they don't need to do any more than not last. (Sorry Vri404)

Seriously the Spina is apparently just poor at these shorter duration races. The next race being a 12hr will hopefully be better, but who knows. As of now the first race was a pure fluke or the driver drove the best race of his life and wore himself out. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting to do very well at first, but seeing that 3rd place AP2 and 6th place overall at the beginning definitely raised my spirits. Then 30th place in the last two races has been disappointing. Looking over the data it seems the Spina isn't as good as the first race lead me to believe and that its as good as I thought it was when I submitted it. That's life/racing though.

My AMWEC Program was/is a failure. I should be back for the next AMWEC (2016) with a new company group.

Also all of the drivers will be fired if one car can't place higher than 32nd in any race.

Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

If I've learned anything it's that I built pretty fast cars. I just need to keep building fast cars that are loads more drivable. My qualifying times were great, not Strop fast, but reasonably competitive, but I lose spots due to minor accidents.

Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

I just realised that tuning for next season will be pain in the ass because with new update it takes much longer for game to calculate (especially GH) lap time :?
I hope it can be and we be optimised with minor update.

Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

Well that's a rather disappointing result for us. Our worst race so far in the calendar, but the crew quickly packed up for the 4th venue at Sebring.
It's fair to say we like the atmosphere of the paddock in there and the track is amongst our driver's favorite.

Thanks to the series' promoters for running such a great competition as per usual!

Re: AMWEC '15 [3rd race results!]

i would say latest race result are more 'competitive' than the two previous races. the gap between cars now is much more closer than ever, shorter circuit length maybe affecting this? or maybe more tight corner than previous circuit? but still i really surprised seeing the Prima 1 make a big comeback and the Prima finally able to finish on 2nd place in overall result which make my team can feel whats the feel like seeing our driver standing on the podium. for Garuda team, they still part of our team and we will do something big for next year
