Re: Preorders selections?

Well, the two versions are:
Naturally Aspirated = base version of the game
Turbocharged = base version of the game plus bonus content

So if you have the "Turbocharged" version, you have "both".

Re: Preorders selections?

I thought he means if he has to pay the whole price for the turbo version, because he has bought the natural version already

Re: Preorders selections?

Right, I think I misunderstood that.
We currently have no "upgrade" from 'Naturally Aspirated' to 'Turbo Charged', so the only way of getting the 'Turbo Charged' version is to buy it directly.
We might consider offering such an upgrade solution, but there is non at the moment.

Re: Preorders selections?

I think that is not so easy because he has a key for the natural version already.
But that could be a way of handling that problem ;-)

Re: Preorders selections?

I'm also interested in upgrading from the N/A to the forced version after seeing the progress the demo/game has made so far.

Re: Preorders selections?

I'm sorry for the confusion I caused here (updated/edited my post up there to be correct!).
Of course there are turbo chargers in the game also for the naturally aspirated version.
The only thing you will be missing is the bonus material:

> The Making of Automation eBook/Art Book
> Automation Soundtrack as Digital Download
> V16 Engines

And you will miss out on supporting us a little extra hehe :)
Sorry for the confusion again!

Re: Preorders selections?

Can I find out which version I have, I pre-ordered so long ago now that I honestly can't remember :?

Also any idea what sort of time the download will be available here in the UK?

Re: Preorders selections?

Well you pre-ordered on Rockethub before the two editions was created. So I think we have all been grandfathered into the forced induction edition. Although I'm not completely sure about you and the other sliver supporter since you have gotten it cheaper than the NA edition. Still I think you have the forced edition.

Re: Preorders selections?

Just found it; viewtopic.php?f=3&t=696

You're right, everyone who supported through RocketHub gets forced induction.

My next question then is what's the difference between forced induction and turbocharged versions? Or are they the same thing?

Re: Preorders selections?

The forced induction version has some bonus content - click on the preorder button and it'll give you and overview of what is in what version

Re: Preorders selections?

I've got a question which I don't want to make a new thread for. It says on both versions "Save $5 off the price of the final game by preordering".
Does that mean the game will be released in 2 versions, one for 30 $ and one for 40 $ ? Sorry if it's been asked before.
