Re: UC - ManHell Automotive

Hi there guys, vacations are over and here we go with some designs.

I'm glad you liked it :)

Seriously, this is basically 3D art made with Automation's car designer. These are amazing!

Thanks ethanwdp for your kind words, just trying to be creative.

ethanwdp wrote:Just curious, have you ever thought of posting a tutorial on design tips? They'd help a lot of people out (including me) :D

Yes..., but there are already guides and tips about building/creating cars on Automation Hub :)
OTOH, what might I say!?...
- play with the shapes of the fixtures, "over and over again", 'mixing' 2 or 3 fixtures may give you a (overall) "new shape".
- think about sections of cars that, aesthetically speaking, you like and reproduce it..., even might be a shape from a plane, etc.
- be creative, sounds like a joke but... it's your car!!, place the fixtures where you want. They can be there for aesthetic or practical reasons...

Really dunno what to add

The rear of the Corona reminds me of a cross between a Fiat 500 and a Porsche 991.

Re: UC - ManHell Automotive

The Corona is some kind of 'bastard thing'. I'm agree, the rear end reminds me a Porsche too (it's somewhat attractive the rounded ass)..., and the front end looks a bit like an old Opel... :? (anyway it looks old fashioned hehe).
I have another model with that rear end but being a FWD car the final weight distribution is crap, so I'll test some things on it trying to get a good balance.

ManHell Automotive - Build 150929

Thanks TurboJ, overall I like the little details here and there almost in everything (not only in the aesthetic way, also the practical one - that's like a war :) -).
OTOH I know that some cars have 'fixture overpopulation' but it's the way to find new 'fixture combos'.

And... the entry level version of the Kaleido (standard ET).

Great design as always. The sedans have a particular realistic line.

Yep, common or mass cars have to be less eccentric :) .

I've seen it, maybe you might spice up with a revamped edition, trying to improve the economy side (20l /100km is way too much for a 3.2 cc turbocharged engine) and adding some stuff in the original design.

C21  was created to compete against the R-21, BX, Peugeot 405, Vectra, etc.
and it seems that is not quite attractive for the markets

Re: UC - ManHell Automotive

Chimera has been revamped to comparison with this first one. Added moar chrome xDD And of course improved engine. If you want to take a look then go ahead. Good designs you've still got.

I've seen it, indeed it was improved :) . I only would add wider front wheels, maybe 245, that will allow to improve cornering.

A couple more...

Ermes GT. This premium coupe faced rivals like Nissan 350Z, Alfa 156 GTA, Impreza 2.0 STI, Honda NSX 3.2 V6, etc. Unfortunately despite its dynamic behaviour, this model did not attract the customers as expected.
