I wanted to go nuts on this and make a carbon fiber car using a tiny wheelbase and 15+ slider abuse everywhere. But it just didn't make sense and the overall track performance of the car, not to mention the feel of the car didn't appreciably improve past a certain point. And that certain point was... actually very cheap.

So in keeping with the existing design tech and philosophy of my pet English shed company Armada, who have this fascination with aluminium alloys and firmly believe that more valves are better, what better way to celebrate their competitiveness of the past decade with a 60th Anniversary revamping of their first ever racer. Incidentally, the Bolt starred in the BRC 55 and (thus far) is vying (although a long shot) for a podium finish, having managed a podium finish in at least one race.

The problem with the Bolt was that it was a little underpowered. Light and nimble, it was a decent qualifier, but it struggled to overtake on the straights. So Armada decided the best way to remedy that was to shoehorn its 2.4L V6 twin turbo reserved for its largest model into the smallest ever Armada car, then dial it up to 11.

The result: for 25000 money units, you could buy yourself a Toyobaru 86/BRZ. Or a Mazda MX-5 ND. Or you could forgo creature comforts entirely and go the whole hog, and buy something with a healthy >500bhp/ton power output. Going to the rear wheels.

Yes, it has traction and stability control, this is 2015, and you'd probably die otherwise. Also, 40.0 is the minimal acceptable Gasmea safety standard. (45 is Fruinia's minimum, but, well, for this price, it's nearly impossible to make that value, so I'll have to come up with a Fruinian spec I guess!)

As it is, this is a car that will blast around the Top Gear test track in 1:20.8, and Green Hell in around 7:46. That is to say, it'll put to shame most cars anywhere between 4-30 times its price! And that's how we do nostalgia around here.
