Getting the word out.

Hey guys,
I'm a relative newcomer to this whole thing that is Automation and having looked at the game and watched a few sessions of the development livestream I went ahead and pre-ordered. I also convinced my grease monkey of a roommate to pre-order as well with very little peer pressure involved, and this gave me an idea: I am enrolled at a university in the States that is renowned for it's Computer Science and Engineering departments (this includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc.) and being fairly active within the campus, I'm sure that more than a few people would be interested in this game for different reasons. The Computer Science majors would be interested in the game because they're all nerds and nerds like video games (for the record I include myself in this category) plus; they would love to be able to watch a game being developed and made through the livestream. The Engineering majors, specifically the Mechanical Engineers, would be interested in the game for reasons I assume are obvious. (Mechanical Engineers = gearheads)

Anyway this brings me to my point. If I could get into contact with someone who would be willing to give me permission and/or information to write some sort of article that I would submit to the university newspaper and to the various clubs and organizations' newsletters who would be interested in this kind of game, this would give you a very, very small, admittedly almost negligible amount of free publicity. It would also give a charming, handsome, and young writer some experience in this thing that he keeps hearing about (I think it's called the 'Real World'...?), and I assure you he would be very grateful. I would, of course, let you go over the final product to ensure that the information I present to my fellow students is as accurate as possible before I submit it. I ask for nothing in return as I would consider the experience more than worth the effort, as so far I've only written articles concerning the university itself and I don't think that these will lend themselves too well when trying to find a job.

Anyway that was the idea and I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Re: Getting the word out.

Sounds good. I will get to work right away and will post the results here in about a week or so barring any catastrophic amount of homework.
