Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [TRUMP CARDS]

I was only thinking general comments on the cars, nothing really in depth unless we find something interesting or unusual (like an insane redline). Now if Packbat wants to look at the cars and do some heavy number crunching first I am good with that. As a former intel guy I am always up for some heavy analysis.

By the way, stream test on Wednesday around 4:30 PM EST or 8:30 PM GMT.

EDIT

My challenge is to make a Pushrod engined car that would be competitive in this contests format.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [TRUMP CARDS]

Most recent news I have from the commentators is that they cannot make the first race before July. I'm on a longer business trip soon, too, so I'm not too sad about that. I will prepare as much as I can until then so we won't lose any more time from July on.

After July would be quite nice, would be up for commentating almost any time after that :)

I have no problem too :)

It's going to be an interesting event... those light cars hmm.
At the end I "went nuts" and sent the tyre wear to hell, let see what happens hehe.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [TRUMP CARDS]

I think it would be neat to have my car reviewed.

Also my fuel economy was much better, then I tried to get more speed out of the car and forgot about it when I gave up on that idea.

Nice that you want to do it before we do, because unfourtanely i am on a business trip from 11.6 to 28.6, with a crappy business laptop and hotel wifi. While i can hop on and probably do normal skyping and texting, streaming is impossibru, therefore the main-races will start around the end of this month :)

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [TRUMP CARDS]

Just finished making a video about a sub-1h BRC 1955 build (getting sub 2:41). To all the people out there that were not getting anything competitive this season, that should help for the next one, as many of the concepts shown here should be reusable in later BRC installments ;) uploading the 50min video over night.

Is it a sprite? Try it with something else, if it is. ;) It would make things more interesting! Seeing 30 sprites is just.....yawn....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....huh, oh yeah, boring.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [TRUMP CARDS]

Tuning and other considerations are independent of what body you choose, I chose the sprite for the video because it is the optimal body for the challenge and I explain why too. Very seldom I show modder cars too, and showing one of them might drive more people to trying out mods, strengthening the community in the process.
