Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [BUILD]

I just started making the first pre-season test. Hopefully I didn't forget anyone and hopefully for everyone the most recent revision is in the test. It gets a bit messy if you get 5 revisions from a single person... ;)

If I forgot you, please leave me a note and I will run another test soon only with the forgotten cars. The video will be up later in the evening.

(Thank you for being so accommodating!)

(The red one is my latest.)

(Edit: Wait a sec, I only had three revisions. ...I'M NOT ALONE! )

Im there with you Packbat. Automation simply did not want to save my engine changes one night and I had to send in 2 or 3 revisions before it finally "took".

Yep, same here. 3rd revision for me  thanks so much martin! I've got a much clearer idea of what I'm looking for in this test.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [BUILD]

I'm very excited for the first training.
I might even switch to a totally different car, if this one is too fast. :P

Less than 10 seconds off the leaders? Considering that I am a massive noob, I'm pretty happy with that.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [BUILD]

Yay! Not last.... quite high fuel consumption though.

Any way to track number of errors? Don't think my driver made any. But i think Killrob's might take the lead in that category. ;)

And maybe track the top speed of all cars?

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [BUILD]

Oof - my car is using way too much fuel for how slow it is. I'll need to revise this thing substantially.

Re: BRC 1955 - The Golden Age [BUILD]

Ok, 6th now. Some adjustments here and there are necessary I think. Indeed tire wear is rather heavy it seems. Though it is always only a 30 min race.

Bayer could you give an indication when the next training will be? A week from now on or so? That way contenders will know how much time they have to prepare.

Also what factor determines the chance for driver errors? Is it drivability or just random?

Excellent. Things have gone as hoped.

Now to test the model that goes a little easier on the tyres...
