Still working on the stats, wanted to post it so everyone could see (It's a google spreadsheet). But am having trouble getting the points table to work. -.- If anyone is good with spreadsheets send me a pm. If I can jump that hurdle it'd be pretty much set up.

Basically the groups are divided up according to the championship standings. The ones with more points in one group and the rest into the other.

Same here, except I'm balancing on the edge of being qualified and so far i'm notoriusly ending race 1 as a last man standing :(

Roughly 1/10th of a second between me and absurdist..... Once he starts losing fuel weight I just can't match his acceleration.

I got a good qualification lap for a car that does not turn very well. I am happy with that.

I got 10th, we will see if my driver rookie Cole Trickle continues his pattern of hitting just about everything on the track.

Pitstops for us has been fuel, tires, fenders... and not necessarily in that order

So THAT'S where that fender I nearly hit at 12:05 came from.

(I had an error that cost me a lot of time around 12:05)

Ok, seems I'm 6th overall in the training. I'm happy with that.

The good news? My car will most likely qualify this round as well.

The bad news? My car still SUCKS!

Oh, I've been in your boat. I can finally say, I did get POINTS this week. (13, just like my number) So I'll always have that......however little comfort it may provide by the end of this season. :)

My wording could have been better. I wasn't sayin I have points and you don't. I just meant I have points, so I am satisfied (for now).

Re: Re: BRC - Out of the Steam - 1945 [Race 3 Training]

I think that's the good thing about the reverse grid races. It mixes it up so that we get some surprising results. I mean, ZatoM did very well for himself last race. Just feel for Trackpaduser who's driver seems to be so polite that he refuses to overtake anyone on principle so he ends up losing a lot of points.

Honestly I can't exactly work out why, I mean, there or there abouts it's incredibly similar to my car and mine seems to pass quite well. And in qualifying and race 1 we keep seeing that it is indeed a very, very quick car. And here again, 3rd in training.

I'm also noticing how close it is. 3rd to 8th is less than a second apart in terms on fastest lap. So qualifying should be exciting!

Re: Re: BRC - Out of the Steam - 1945 [Race 3 Training]

@Absurdist: If I had to venture a guess, your wider power band gives you a better 80-120 time than TrackpadUser's and that's making a big difference. Cornering speed is excellent, but if you get held up on corner exit by someone who accelerates faster, then you lose a lot of time because you don't catch them up again until the next corner ... whereas if you get held up by someone who accelerates more slowly, you have an immediate opportunity to attempt the overtake again and get clear.
