Re: The small sports car challenge (Best time 1:12.98 airfie

Well after more time than I care to admit to, that's as fast as I could get the spyder round the track, so here is my one revision.

It'd probably go faster, but there's a specific bug I'd rather not exploit. I'm also stuck on a version where the cooling drag calculations haven't been fixed yet, so I'll leave it for the time being.

Also my game crashed and apparently forgot the name of my trim, which I only noticed now. Bugs

It's still a horrifyingly fast front-wheel drive, though.

This is why you don't do challenges at 0300. :?

My game isn't saving properly anyway ("why is it suddenly half a second slower, what's it deselected this time"), so I'll put my entry on hold while I reinstall it and start from scratch.

Well, I couldn't beat Strop, but I'll take 2nd to him any day.

Hopefully I've not made a mistake on the rules.

Re: The small sports car challenge (Best time 1:12.98 airfie

Here is an entry from Swanson Motorsports. The Vertigo GS is a sport compact featuring an Inline 6 2.5L DOHC N/A engine with a 4-speed AWD drivetrain. It will not touch GG's insane time around the track, but it gets around it quite sufficiently. Keep in mind, this is an N/A engine.

The production Street version, which runs on Premium 90.3 Unleaded, is certainly nothing to scoff at, with a 1:23.86 Airfield time.

Here is a fully tuned race version of the same car. Featuring a full race intake and tuned for Ultimate 95 Unleaded, it scoots around the Airfield at a time of 1:22.71! (yes, you're right. I got basically squat from the extra 5 AKI, but I didn't really tune the suspension after adding it.)
