Update OS, so fails?

So I just wiped my laptop and reinstalled the launcher. When I start it, it forces me to update to play. I've attempted to download the update to play, but not luck a dozen tries later. Any suggestions for a fix?

So, after wiping your laptop and reinstalling, you're stuck in an update loop?

Is this happening on the Steam version of Automation, or the standalone launcher?

Exactly what I was thinking too, as it was a common issue before Steam release.
