On which note: it occurs to me that a lot of what sucked the drama out of the pre-season tests was that the cars were basically hot-lapping in isolation. In the actual race, where the cars in close competition are in close proximity, it'll be a lot easier to see the drama unfold on the track.

Still a bit bothered by my tyre wear though. I even reduced camber but I guess the brakes are causing problems.

I dont know about you but there is NO way my brakes can even lock up my tires in my car, what was your camber at, mine is probably even less aggressive.

Also, crossing my fingers that the second half is slow, because I'm near the cutoff for qualifying lap times.
Edit: Sweet baby Jesus Absurdist's time lives up to his username. Der Bayer was completely controlled and fast, Absurdist is utterly murderous and faster.
Edit: Finished. Absurdist is the clear favorite, if the car can stay in the black long enough to finish the race. And cutoff for qualifying here (top 38 race) is probably going to be somewhere in the 162s or 163s.

But HOLY CRAP absurdist... looking at vehicle card I would not have called that lap time. GJ!
And now a word from my chief mechanic "I'm givin' her all she's got cap'n"!
