Re: True of False: Forum game

False. I hate "leather" seats. Let's be clear... most are either vinyl simulating leather or vinylized leather. Actual true leather only exists in cars so pretentious I'd never own them. Oh, and also I like having my butt planted in my seat should I need to do some... creative... maneuvering. Leather doesn't allow that. Cloth does. I do like heaters, though. Wish more cloth seats had them.

(edit, because I felt it necessary to further clarify: I don't love ALL cloth either. Sueded cloth is usually cheap looking, and is also very prone to tears starting from pinhole punctures. The best cloth seats are made from flat woven cloth.)

TNP has "engineered" a solution on their car with duct tape before.

Re: True of False: Forum game

True. On my old Volvo 740 Turbo wagon - the factory boost gauge didn't work. Poking around under hood one day (for something completely different), I noticed a vacuum hose with a small hole in it. I taped it up and went on my way. It took a few miles of driving to realize the boost gauge was working. I wasn't in the habit of looking at it, so I was shocked when I saw the needle moving around!

TNP has "accidentally" fixed something on their car or any other device.

False. Ahh.. the early days of the Subaru club, when we'd go out with early 80's 4WD wagons and thrash them in the mud and on the trails until they were 1WD. :D

TNP has obsessively hand waxed a car before.

False. A little far away, plus I've had more than my fill of crowds for quite some time. Time to become a hermit.

True, the farthest i've ever been from my room is London, and that trip killed me.

TNP has an insane front camera on his phone

Also, Spitfire, have you ever took a look at the WP Marketplace? If you roam around for an hour, you'll probably facepalm so much there will be finger marks on your face for a week. That's why i switched to Android.

False, my phone doesn't have a front camera. I'm not even sure it's any good as a phone tbh.

TNP is going to start a petition that will get Twin Supercharged Rotary Diesel-Electric Gensets into Automation.
