After dumping ridiculous money into my brakes and suspension, I've shaved a few seconds off my test track time. Unfortunately, my test track isn't Automation Test Track, so I'm still not going to be giving oppositelock a run for his money. All I can hope is that it keeps me ahead of the pack after tuning is complete.

I just added another rule for less frustration: Only the best 8 out of 10 race results will count to your championship score (2 drop results).

what goes to what.jpg

So in terms of naming for people who dont understand what goes where (like me)... well, what goes where?

Which one is the engines model or platforms and which one is cars platforms and cars trims.

It took me some time to figure out the new naming conventions and how we were to modify them for the contest. I *think* I got it right with mine. (Der Bayer will correct me hopefully, if I did not)

GenJeFT-Model 3 (My Games/Automation/Cars/Platforms)
GenJeFT-Model 3-Trim 1 (My Games/Automation/Cars/Models)
GenJeFT-Family 2 (My Games/Automation/Engines/Platforms)
GenJeFT-Family 2-Variant 1 (My Games/Automation/Engines/Models)

Those 4 files combined will make the car listed in your image, and adding your name at the beginning of each will keep them together as your car.

Here is some of the fun of naming files outside the game itself.

Lap times from the video are in seconds, right? If so, then I have a problem...iI've started a test drive on Automation track and my starting time was nowhere near the YouTube video time...

Soltra has decided that is will continue in the BRC (Thanks to everyone that convinced me) and they have managed to shave seven seconds off a standing start lap time but progess is still on going

Fear not, the times in BROBOT simulation and the times given by the automation simulation don't match up! In the pre-testing it seemed to be quite a bit faster in the BROBOT...

Thanks StropMaster, I thought that I messed something when I saw time under 3 minutes in video when in game it was closer to 3 & 1/2.

That being said I've finished the revision earlier than I wanted, I've changed pretty much everything and I'll send it ASAP [but not now, I'm in work :P ]

When is the next test going to be? I do not want to have it now, as I still need some time to optimize my car. Just want to know when it will happen.

Wait, thirty seconds faster? That amount of improvement would put my car ahead of the fastest entries from the first test run!

Re: BRC - Out of the Steam - 1945 [BUILD]

@Packbat

You've got me wrong. My problem was the fact that YouTube tests by Bayer had a lot different times than when I was testing my base build.
