Add the option to save manually engines.

Hello, when I could save the engines manually was much better, mainly for choosing the name and not lose the settings when the game closes for any errors.

Re: Add the option to save manually engines.

The game closing with errors is due to bugs, but that should work normally. The engines are now saved continuously, as are the cars. So you can quit out any time even if the thing you are working on is not done yet. That should be much better than before. If you want to work on your engine but are not sure if you want to keep the changes you are going to make, just press the hold button. If you want to keep it with the new stuff, press the hold button again, if you want to go back, click revert.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone would like the old system better, UNLESS they don't fully know the new system yet :) takes some time getting used to.

Nah, if you have valid reasons for not liking it we're all ears! Just need to be specific about it :)

Re: Add the option to save manually engines.

Once the bugs are out it will be easier to get used to the new system.
It will react the same time and time again.
At the moment you don't know if your model is saved or if an old model is overwritten.
Sam for engines and engine families.

Re: Add the option to save manually engines.

My only issue is that sometimes it does not keep the name you assigned, it will default back to the default name despite it keeping all of the design changes.

I played for a few hours and now everything is fine. I got used to the new interface.

That reminds me: how does the "Revert" button work? What does it revert to?

@Packbat: in scenarios your highest scoring solution (very handy!) and in sandbox the solution you had when you pressed Hold (that only works within the engine designer OR within the trim designer, but not across them).
