My feedback on Steam version

Hi,

I have just made my first playthrough of designing a complete car in the new version of the game (steam), and overall I love it! :)

But I have some general feedback to the developers, and I hope you will at least read through and consider some of my feedback.
I hope it's constructive, it's just my personal opinions. I tried to keep it short... :p

The good (which I really enjoy):
1. Families for cars and engines
2. Realtime updating of graps + key stats
3. Custom colors
4. Engine animation
5. Smaller exhaust diameters available
6. Plus all the new content/feaures available

Issues:
a) No clear indication of possible tire width when morphing body. (at least that I can see?)
b) Economy stat shows in red color when it's improving (lower consumtion g/kWh)
c) Some tutorial videos started when not applicable, like I think for turbo bearing when moving on to fuel system tab after choosing N/A.
d) After playing tutorial videos, buttons for tabs get messed up (too many, overlapping).
e) Blue color for label in brakes graph is almost impossible to read with the current background color.

Improvement proposals:
i. Explanation of Hold and Revert buttons?
ii. Show production units on model tab like other places, instead of "Low" or "Very Low" etc for suspension types and more.
iii. Summary stats on engines to show previous values from last time you were there. Especeially applies to Service Cost, as this does not appear anywhere else for comparison of current and previous stats. (at least that I can find)
iiii. Summary stats on car to show previous values from last time you were there. Especially for Environmental Resistance, Service Costs, Practicality etc., as these does not appear anywhere else for comparison of current and previous stats. (at least that I can find)

I appreciate any comments :)

And thanks for making one of the most enjoayble games I know, I have spent so many hours on it already, keep up the good work!

You can morph the body in the chassis tab. The possible tire width will be displayed then.

Re: My feedback on Steam version

Yes, I see that now. The reason I thought it wasn't there was because I morphed the body straight after choosing it, on the same tab. Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for being a supporter from way back, and thanks for the feedback! I'll address the points which I know the answer to here :)

a) Kinda agree, but sadly you can't tell until you've selected suspension
b)Shit.. Noted!
c)Known bug, working on it!
d)This is one we found out about today, very strange!
e)That was supposed to be light blue. I agree, it's unreadable!

All your suggestions are good points, and we'll look into them :)

Hey, this might be a stupid question, but how can I put in custom tracks in the steam version?

You go to Documents\My Games\Automation\Tracks and try to drop in a track like it is described in the Track Sharing forum :)
