Does the steam account need the same username or email as the Automation one? Because i lost my old test account and couldn't retrieve it, so i'm making a new one

The steam version uses you steam ID as username, there is no logging in anymore of course! You already ARE logged in via Steam so no worries about that.

Yes, the versions are the same, there is no difference between a key transferred to Steam vs. a key directly bought on Steam.
