Re: 70's mid-engined

That looks sharp! How did you rig it up to be mid engine?

Re: 70's mid-engined

For this car find the following map: C:\ProgramData\Automation\Assets\Cars\Front\Large\70sCoupe02.
Copy this map to the Cars\Mid\Large map.
Locate the body.lua file, edit it in a text editor and insert the following: RearFirewallRatio = 0.95,
Do that after the text --How much of this extra length is firewall ?.
Save the body.lua file and (re)start the game.
Be sure to make a back-up first!

Have fun!!

Re: 70's mid-engined

Found it!
-Change FirewallRatio from 0.30 to 0.15
-Change MorphTail from 100 to -10

That should do the trick. If not, let me know.

Cheers!

Re: 70's mid-engined

Is it normal that you get a Lua error?

You get lua errors when you have all the grills installed from the 3D artist pages.
When you scroll down to the next page, you get an error but not a crash.
What did you build?
I tried it with longitudinal as well as transverse configs without problems.

Re: 70's mid-engined

The game crashed when I clicked the Trim button after building the engine... Mid-engined 4.4L V8 RWD
