inside car customization

Hi !

Anybody knows if there will be a release with inside custom? ej: seats, velocimeter tool, rpm tool, and other inside styles?

If you look around the suggestion section of the forums, you would see a couple of posts suggesting this, and the reason it won't happen, is that it doesn't offer a lot of gameplay value, especially not enough to justify the time the devs would have to spend on it. If it was to ever come to the game, it would probably be though a mod.

Gameplay value is relative. Some might think of it as a great feature, others might never touch it. Either way, it would be an interesting way to visually represent the quality of the interior and to better fine tune your car.

Compared to the amount of work it'll take to do properly (a huge amount, like almost as much as the entire visual side of car design took) it wouldn't add as much gameplay value as putting that same amount of time into the Tycoon game for example.


There are lots of things we could add that would be interesting and have some gameplay value, but we really need to pick the ones that add the most value, if we just add everything we'll never be finished.
