Public betas?

It's something I've wanted to ask about for a while now, TBH; I'm considering volunteering for a beta testing position if one opens up for this latest huge update..... 8-)

Re: Public betas?

So closed Betas? Because public.. and.. uhm. The developers will start a thread if they need more beta-testers, where everyone can apply, don't you worry!

And if you are wondering about the open beta, that will start in around a month, give or take a bit.

Re: Public betas?

There seems to be no way to make a public beta on Steam while NOT selling the game at the same time, so the way we will do it is to invite some 50 - 100 people to a closed beta in the two weeks leading up to the game's launch on Steam. We'll manually convert their keys to Steam keys for that. This should be happening in about 2 weeks from now. I will post an announcement and application thread for this.

Cheers!

Re: Public betas?

I would likely donate a kidney to the camshaft software crew to get a beta tester spot!

(This is in not a valid contract, confirming or denying I will or will not donate a kidney for said position. Terms may be considered however :-p)
