Haha jokes. Better than submitting a car with the wing on the roof of a sedan only to be told it wasn't legal (which was what I had originally planned to do, whoops!).

Gryphon Gear didn't exist in 1971. However, a couple of major British marques were in their hey-day then. So it was that a small crew of opportunists tried to jump on the bandwagon and get in on the action.

Quick question: As you may have noticed, the prices and man hours tend to change with changes in aero inclination and downforce for reasons I'm not sure about.

It so happens that my TF car costs 9499.99........ when tuned for Nordschleife. Naturally, on tracks with high downforce requirements, the price increases by a few cents.

Must all the tunes be under the price limit? This may catch a few users out when making alterations for other courses. Then again you could argue it's our responsibility to make sure we tune within the budget!

P.S. On a completely different note, let me regale you also with the untold legend of aspiring French duo Gascoigne & Lafierre, who decided to strip out a Renault R8 and take a punt at the TF class...

As long as the initial submission is within the guidelines, I am not going to quibble over a few cents due to aero settings later on. There's nothing truly expensive or earth-shattering that can be changed between rounds. Of course that said, aero and suspension settings are very important. I've seen people not make adjustments and lose by 4 hundredths of a second. Many. Many times.

Thanks RaduST, well the MH 251 is nimble and light (more than the Atlas), now just we need to wait and see how it does in competition
