Community Designed Custom Rims

Since the next update is including a feature where you can set different kind of wheels and there are guys doing crazy things in 3D, I was wondering if it's possible for the custom designing community to create their own set of wheels and use them in game as well? (like what already can be done with fixtures and car body's for example)

Re: Community Designed Custom Rims

If this is possible, I want it! It'd be a matter of opening the rims to being able to slot in files like the meshes folder of the root directory...

Re: Community Designed Custom Rims

Some of the videos on Killrob's channel show more rims, so it seems to me that it wouldn't be to difficult to mod some more in...?

Yeah, there's gonna be a few new sets of rims in the next update, and I'm fairly sure they are going to have a tutorial for making rims (I think).

Re: Community Designed Custom Rims

Rims should be similarily easy to vents and grilles in terms of modelling, so... even more new community content will be coming your way!

Re: Community Designed Custom Rims

I saw daffy reply in another thread that right now its not eyt possible, but it will be soon in the future. It now is part of 1 big .kjc file, not like vents and grilles that have their own kjc and lua etc.
