If you count subscription costs, then true (World of Warcraft at ~$15/month for roughly 7 years). I can't imagine a game costing $100+ for the purchase!

False. Though I've had some harrowing times out on the water WITH land in sight... like when I was in Sea Scouts, bringing both vessels assigned to our ship group to a Regatta. Well, one was a 27' "Whaler" (actually a small surplus military transport craft... a glorified canoe with a half canopy and rather large inboard engine). And guess who got assigned to help bring that across Puget Sound? at night?

(Jumping freighter wake in a boat like that isn't exactly fun. Or easy on the stomach.)
