We may have taken the 276hp limit as a challenge to have as wide a powerband as possible.. :o

The results are performance that is quite amazing for a car of its power and weight..

BTW Pleb, I really enjoyed the challenge on this one. Having to keep the weight down while balancing costs and comfort and safety and all that was a real challenge, and I feel like this is one of the best cars I've ever designed as a result. :D

Goddamn, the ultra fat rear tyres sure help harness the torque! That thing is gonna go fast!

Indeed. I almost considered using the larger MR body for even more tyre width, but that was a little overkill..

Speaking of Torque, the Sparrow generates 329Ft-lbs @ 2800rpm before dropping off.. The car is very sedate under 2000 rpm, but then the turbo spools up and it goes like a rocket.

So, the car may have changed drastically from my original idea until now, but I finally sent it in.

Powered by a 1.9L Twin Turbo V8 that Revs up to 7900RPM the Saisoku will no doubt, leave a lasting impression in peoples minds.

Had a lot of trouble getting the required comfort.... And safety, the price was hard to get... And really I'm about 12HP down on what I could be.
Frankly the brakes aren't that good either so be mindful of that. Although really I spent most of the time working on it coming up with a name. As long as no one here speaks Japanese it should make sense.

Wow, I guess basing my sedan's performance off of the Supra's was way too realistic for this challenge.

Lol so it looks like my car here will be the least powered and sporty, but that's ok. I admired the s2000, it had one of the best japanese engines ever made.

Re: The Japanese Power Pact [CLOSED, AWAIT RESULTS]

Oh yeah here we go!

Like niall I went for replica performance (except improved the handling and traction). So I will also expect a mid-pack performance, but hope for a decent result in the downhill.
