Motor Shows/ Conventions

Hi again devs,

I know you guys were asking about ideas for the tycoon aspect of the game. My question is: are car conventions or motor shows being considered?

This is a huge part of the automotive industry for enthusiasts and manufacturers alike. It's a major marketing move and also a time to showcase new products and concepts. I believe that this could contribute greatly to the tycoon aspect of the game. It could be something that would be planned in advance for that occurs on a yearly basis in the game, and have the major AI car manufacturers participating in.

This could be a simple cut-scene that generate statistics like attendance, supporters, popularity of your brand and specific models, and awareness to upcoming releases of new models.

Feedback could be read the next day in a news paper or tv commercial.

If you guys had already planned something like this then awesome! If not, then what are your thoughts?

I stopped reading after that. Not that it is a bad post, but this has been spoken about before and will definetly be implemented as this is something big in the car industry. Let me put it this way: It wouldn't make sense if they didn't implement this.

On another note, in the right top is a search bar. Search for these things in the future as most things have been answered by the devs before already numerous of times.

Before you assume that I didn't use the search function, please consider the fact that there are two different search buttons. I did not use the one in the top right corner, but mind you that I did use the central left one, and I am yet to see any results under the keywords 'motor show', 'motorshow' or convention.

So on another note, I appreciate your assistance in answering my post, but do not assume that all new persons here are incompetent and do not know how to use the search function. I searched the suggestions forum to see if it was already suggested, and obviously it wasn't. If information about that is found in other sections of the forums, then that's another story. Good day.

It also depends on the search terms you use, and a lot of it is regional. I say "auto show", you say "motor show"... etc. Not a big deal, really. Hope these help!

Im sorry if I offended you in any way. I was just merely pointing out to the search function and not in anyway saying you haven't used it. Most people that used the search function, say they did so and I didn't see that in this post, so yes, it was in the back of my mind there was a possibility you hadn't used it. End of the day, sorry again.

No offence taken, and thanks for the assistance and links. I will take the advice I got regarding the search options for future posts.
