I see we have gone for similar rear spoiler strategies, but you really have knocked it out of the park for the 'riced' look :D

That's it. I have to join this purely for the ricing. I don't care how I do with the racing!!!

That's the spirit!

a reliability rating of 10 is required, minimum for engines! Any and All entries effected will be notified as to allow ample time for revisions.

Re: Honda Civic Challenge [Accepting Entries - Rules updated

I realized I know absolutely nothing about making a riced car, so instead I decided to go somewhat artistic instead. The interooler sticks out, so instead of trying to hide it, or ignore it, I decided to emphasize it (something I learned as an artist, just roll with your mistakes/errors).

With a kind of "italian" pronounciation of the Sundial, like in Ferrari Mondial xD

Who needs rice when you can have Schnitzel? answer: vegetarians Here's AMW's completely revised version of what used to be an old Honda Civic.

Re: Honda Civic Challenge [Accepting Entries - Rules updated

I took this challenge very seriously. And I have 2 very good reasons to.

First, I am on a holiday, so I have a lot of free time that I can spend! I reckon I should spend it on playing Automation, as it is the best thing a man can do on a holiday isn't it? Going out? See a m8? Naaaah, it's best to play Automation! What do you get out of going out and see a m8? You spend cash on transit to see somebody you see every weekday already? Playing Automation gives you THIS!

The second reason I took this challenge very seriously. See, my mother used to have a DX Civic. Okay... It wasn't a DX, but rather an EX. Same thing though, EG Civic with small engine and not even Multi Point fuel injection. That car is very close to my heart and I took time to replicate it in Automation! Yeaaaaah! It's totally like my mother's Civic! That one used to run 1.36 bar of boost as well! :)

One of the memory I have with the Civic was that even though it's made out of pure metal, it feels flimsy like it was made out of Fibreglass... Maybe that's why the DX is made of Fibreglass in this challenge.

Have I done this correctly? Seeing other entries gives me doubt...

Wait, what

Nathan, got a question: may I use flared arches but not alter the offset of wheels or extend the wheel width past the original max? My days of yoof were spent dreaming of superfluous widebody kits

Or maybe it was front left side tyre pressure... My memory of it is hazy at best... ;)

My car actually was suppose to be something based on a spider, but whatever you want to see, lol. If you look form the front you can see the body, the 8 legs, and the two large pincers in the front. Plus the 8 headlights. :D

Right. Oh my god. Time spent tuning car: 20 minutes. Time spent ricing car: something like 3 hours. Here's a teaser, while I sit on it and just admire my handiwork.

Vic once told me I must have extreme patience to model the Nightfury's rear taillight array. That was an array of merely 14 LED lights. Try 62 of the fuckers.

EDIT: Okay, submitted! Here are some more pictures. Never before now have I been compelled to show a car in chrome, but TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! This car will definitely draw attention away from those stuck up rich kid mobiles, not to mention smoke them on the track

Common sense would dictate that a clean car looks good, however this is high school and as a 16 year old boy/girl you have a very different opinion of what looks tasteful on a 1992 civic :-p
