Tavshed Manufacturing

I have recently started making things in automation that would be practicle as road cars! Decided some feedback on my designs would be good.

I don't think I will do a company back story just yet as I have not decided what I really want to shoot for (economy cars, luxury, sports, ect).

Falcon Series Sedan
Meant to be a sporty alternative to the other dreary entry level sedans available to the average consumer.

The car has 3 main trim levels:

Base (pictured above, also available with a 6 speed automatic)
SS (think of it like the Civic Si to the Civic)
RSS (Like Honda does with its limited production crazy Type-R japan only stuff, 7 speed dual clutch auto)

The Powerplant(s)
The ANA series of motors are currently made up of 3 related 4 cylinders

The SS8 Specialty Sports car

The Powerplant(s)

The SS8 is powered by an OHV Pushrod 5.7 liter V8. I made a much more costly but super reliable prototype as a jumping off point, and made a less expensive production version. It is my companies halo car and it's real world competitor would likely be the Chevrolet Corvette.

Your cars are simplistic, but they look good and they make sense. Keep it up.
However, it would seem almost all of your engines are limited by their RPM, so you might want to up the redline, especially on those 4 cylinders. It shouldn't hurt the reliability all that much. Post some airfield times from your halo car! I'm curious to see how it performs.

Re: Tavshed Manufacturing

Very nice, your SS8 doesn't cost much to produce (relatively speaking) yet is backed by solid stats that exceed that of cars costing much more. Well done, It would be great to see performance stats too!

Re: Tavshed Manufacturing

Interesting start. Nothing too fancy, its just... there. Bit like current day webdesigning, it needs to be flat, modern, simple and straight forward, exactly what I see these cars are!
Hope you cna keep that up with a bit more advanced car designing techniques you will have to experience around with.

Here is the test track time and info for the production SS8. And here are thetrack stats for a super race car thing I put together based on the same car.

I think I will start on some more complete complex cars. So far I have mostly done engine stuff in automation, its really helped me by demonstrating how timing, fuel mixture, compression, ect. all interact.

1:10.66? That's an incredible time.

And I am pretty sure I could get it lower. For the suspension I just used the Race preset, could probably get some more time out of that with some tuning.
