Btw. A little cosmetical issue in the standings: you used the wrong IOC-Code(Country tags) for some nations. For example Austria would be AUT, not OST. But you don't have to change anything, i just pointed this out

The car cards look really nice.

OK, power to weight ratio won the first round. Since this track was announced as the fastest it looks like power could use some help from suspension to strike back.

On the other end of the field I'm somewhat surprised that it went better than anticipated so far for my car. Given the power, or lack of it, the result even justifies some hope I didn't mess cornering completely up. Looks like my first car is no dud. Still, next time I should base some choices, like the engine, more on logic.

A good start, but that was very close! Given the way this track turned out, it will be our hope to grab as many stage wins as possible as we are likely to drop positions in Brands Hatch, and maybe some of the other slower tracks. There may be lead changes throughout this championship!

Well, there seems to be a large gap between the people on the podium, and the people off it. Let's see how this translates to the slower tracks. Trollercoaster, I'm quite afraid of your car through the corners, especially since you were able to keep pace with the top two facing such a power-to-weight deficit. All we can do is wait, and hopefully the results will come out soon. Good luck everyone!

I remember back in the days of the BRC, we had hypothesised that it was average speed that dictated the different advantages between turbo and NA (a track with a lower average speed favouring NA... Or, really, cars with more reasonable power bands assuming sufficient output, this being something well reflected in real life conditions like touge. That was also because the sportiness of the road was variable.

What I'm interested to see this time is whether the degree of technicality of the curves is the big factor. I suspect light cars with a good 20m circle test do well with hairpin corners that exit on a straight, but when it comes to corners over crests and variable speeds through chains of corners, plus elevation changes, then my setup will suffer, which is why I'm fairly sure I will place 5th or worse in Brands Hatch.

If that's right, then I expect to do well in Canada and Belgium, and surprisingly, I still hope for a podium in Tsukuba, because its actually a series of alternating short straights and hairpins. Suzuka? No idea. Based on what I've seen the chained corners are crazy hard to negotiate and I'll probably lose time then.
