Here are my 2 submissions! :)

The first is the revolutionary Conan GLX, produced from 1955-1956, a 2 years model car. It cost 159,995$ So I guess its not a surprise that it wasn't a success.

The second is the BKOO (Bob & Kenneth Omologation Office) MURICAR YEEHAA, and that pretty much speaks for itself really. The stats on it is ridiculous and I'd rather let you have the surprise and let you check it out when the result came out. I'll only say that it cost 29,995$ and comfort rating is 35.7.

Before Picard bought out Enterprise, they made cheap and extremely fuel efficient cars. My entry this time include a small fuel efficient Enterprise Parka and the also cheap, but incredibly wasteful Picard Ebony.

Mars Engineering enters the Market with the "ME Kitkat".
An ideal car for people who don't like cars, yet need cheap ones.

Mars Engineering enters the Market with the "ME Overkill".
You can guess what target group this car is aimed for. Some say, Bruce Wayne already ordered one.

@NormanVauxhall :o

Submitted ages ago, but posting the entries now.
1955 is before Evgenis, as they were founded in 1964. Instead the short-lived company belonging to one of the founders' grandfather called Ekstasi

The small, cheap, nothing-more-than-that runabout with a cheesy name: Ekstasi Saltsa Supreme

And the beautiful, powerful, sporty cruiser in its most brutal form: Ekstasi Petra R

Here is one of my cars, seen with a revolutionary 2.0 Diesel engine with IDI , 50 hp and a whopping 109 Nm tq.
This is actualy a tribute to Mercedes for introducing the D in road cars and they sold far more of those than they did the petrol versions. It was slow and required an elaborate procedure to start, but it used 50 to 65 % less fuel than an equivalent petrol and besides this diesel fuel was readily available as opposed to gasoline and it cost only one quarter of it.

Presenting MGCC's 1955 Entries for CTC6

The first up is the MGCC Mythic, a two seater, available with V8 and I6 engines to make up range of 4 cars from Sports to Touring.
In 1956, when Mythic was spun out into it's own brand, this model was renamed and formed it's base line up.

... DIESEL? I didn't think that was in the game yet... or are you just simulating it by the way you're building your engine?

Yeah, he's simulating it, because I've tried to make torque focussed engines using the heavy cast stuff and that's the result; no power OR torque! :geek:

Kudo's to Darkjedi though as I'd personally rather shoot myself (figuratively speaking) than build an engine so boring! :D

Re: CTC - Car Tycoon Challenge #6 - 1955 [BUILD]

yes, it's just a simulation. the techyear is 1970.

I only used the ordinary forged stuff. the heavy cast stuff is useful for building large 6.0 < l engines in the 40s and 50s

23 entries so far, which isn't bad, and there are usually more closer to the deadline. If I knew that figures were going to be like this right now I might have increased the sizes of the factories, which I feel I mucked up anyway.

Maybe they are the last cars designed by your chief engineer at his old firm before he left to join Seishido ;-)
