Save doesnt work

Just built an engine, named it and pressed "Save"-button, but my engine isn't saved and hence all my work is lost.
It happened 3 times in a row and now I don't feel like doing all over a fourth time if saving still doesn't work.
Please advice.

I've just purchased this software too and am unable to save or even test an engine in sandbox mode!

Do you get any sort of error message?

No err msg or anything, when I press "Save" everything seems ok, but when I go to my engines overview afterwards, my newly saved engine isn't in the list.

I also tried making a new car and after designing the body and all that, I made the engine, but then I got stuck at the engine creation, it wouldn't let me put the engine in the car and I couldn't go back and alter my cars design or anything, so I had to click the "close" icon on the top left, which took me to the main menu, meaning all my work was lost. :-/

Tried it again and now it seems to work.
Only thing that annoys me now is that the game crashes if u either tab out of it or accidently click outside it which minimizes the game as that makes it crash. :-/

Run windowed, its on the to do list for the engine change
