Official Announcement

Due to the great number of participants, I will change the scoring system. Instead of using the 2013 BTCC formula, I will now use their 2014 method. So the points will be awarded as follows:

Scoring

  • 1st - 20 points
  • 2nd - 17 points
  • 3rd - 15 points
  • 4th - 13 points
  • 5th - 11 points
  • 6th - 10 points
  • 7th - 9 points
  • 8th - 8 points
  • 9th - 7 points
  • 10th - 6 points
  • 11th - 5 points
  • 12th - 4 points
  • 13th - 3 points
  • 14th - 2 points
  • 15th - 1 point

Thanks Strop!

Well, trying not to to abuse on this topic... :geek: Yes it was inspired in Alfa/Ferrari, and i tried to give it a kind of retro-simple-classic, style...

Re: Automation Touring Car Championship

After some artwork, I am glad to present you the Trump Card. This will be the standard model in which the participant info will be posted, right after the end of the inscription deadline.

Here is my entry, used as an example.
EDIT: Just noticed that the stats are all wrong :D

The Palatine Motor Works anounces their part to this new racingseries.

The "Serie 1 ATCC '96"

Based on a mainstream massproductioncar, it has only the look an some few parts in common.
A monocoque gives it a light weigt while performing good safety.
Its 6 speed and reardriven.

If you really want to and you manage to find some extra horses, you can send me a revision before the deadline, after that I won't allow them.
But, please, don't send more than one, my PM list is already pretty cluttered.

Re: Automation Touring Car Championship

Yeah, car ads around here seem to be geared predominantly towards hipsters and aspiring sportspeople who don't actually sport

I had to tolerate that ad for about 3 months or so. Watch it one time and it is brilliant. The 76th time, it starts to get annoying, really annoying. ;)

Re: Automation Touring Car Championship

Our engineers are working on the EGT Deneb ATCC. The heavy Deneb Sedan's body has been made out of polymer and married to a glued aluminium chassis, for a total weight under 850kg, the RG190 I4 has been rebored to 1999cc and upgraded to 277hp, the suspension and tyres have been improved to allow for almost 1.50g of handling, and we still got 2000$ to spend

Re: Automation Touring Car Championship

Compared to Znopresk, you still are about 80 kg and 20 hp away from us :P
Spend that 2000$ wisely.

And I'd like to point out that my car it won't be competitive.
