Re: Soooooooooo....

Yeah, we had a fairly unproductive few weeks for a few reasons, mostly sickness on my part and various work we had to get done on my car on the weekends.

We're kind of ramping up again now, but not much to show off yet

Re: Soooooooooo....

Not sure at the moment, we try to show stuff off as often as we can, but the stuff we're working on at the moment is pretty dry and boring.

For example I'm currently writing descriptions of all the different types of differential, you probably don't want to see a video of that.. :P

'There are some differentials with cogs that can slip, but only a little bit. These are known as limited slip differentials. No-one knows how they work, some say they work by using the trapped essence of old Group 2 Rally drivers.'

I'm confused on that one. The gears are not meshing there and thats the ring gear and pinion welded together. That wouldnt even go into the diff case set up like that much less allow the drive shaft or axles to be able to spin. I think you meant to post something like this.

Also, holy shit there are some very ugly welded diff pictures on google. Like to the point I dont think they knew how to weld or the concept behind a welded diff.
