To start I am going to list who won the bonus points:

For both lightest car AND highest MPG fuel economy: Necroassasin with his 1989 Comrade Clunker - Ne with 161hp, weighting in at only 1764.9lbs. The Ne was nearly 30% lighter then the heaviest competitor. With fuel mileage coming in at 33 miles per Gallon (US) this car is both fast, light and easy on the wallet.

With both of the accolades the NE will get 2 points put towards its final score.

Coming in with the lowest hp out put is HighOctaneLoves - 1989 Comrade Clunker -HighOctaneLove. With 132hp coming out of the stock, government issue motor supplied with the clunker, this car was built with a very limited budget and realistic goal. The total car costs were less then $4000.00 being 20% cheaper then most of the competition.

For highest hp rating, strops' 1989 Comrade Clunker - Comrade Crusher delivers 409 hp out of a fuel injected v8 that was somehow shoe-horned into the poor clunkers engine bay. With 409 hp and 2134.3lbs to scoot across the pavement the car has an outstanding power to weight ration of almost 5lbs per hp. very decadent indeed.

For having the quietest car VicVictory's - 1989 Comrade Clunker - URX -2 had a loudness rating of 29.2, a mere whisper, which surely no commissar will ever detect from a watchtower.

Before anyone think's I discriminated by colour, I didn't know until putting the photos together that the three winners were red cars. I am by no means 'pro red' or anti blue/yellow :-p

Wow, I actually won!? I was expecting to be behind a few of the V8s at the low end of the points at best. Thanks for the awesome competition np1993, the communist dictator theme was just perfect.

Unless there are any other races involving the clunker, or very very similar cars, in the near future I will happily upload the Comrade Stalker for everyone to have a look at.
