Great car. It is funny in a way that the car only costs around $21000 in materials, but on the other hand another huge factor will be the amount of Production Units needed to put it together, which is 1175. I do not know how much the game calculations for a Production Units work, but there is also an overall cost displayed I think in the statistics when testing the car. Using this, I believe one 1 Production Unit is about $17,50. So that would make the total costs around $41556,50 I believe. Not bad for a "Supercar" considering that they usually cost much more to put together. Are the game costs that are calculated overall maybe too low? Of course to buy this I guess it would cost at least $55,000?

What other cars you can get for $55,000. Is $55,000 realistic for a 500hp mid engined car? A base Porsche Boxster with about 260hp costs about $51,000.

My formula is multiply the production units by 25 (I think in some states, the average UAW worker earns about $25 an hour), add it to materials cost, then multiply that by 3.
So that would make the car have total costs of $50375. Multiply that by 3, MSRP would be $151,125
An Audi R8 V10 (comparable mid engined 525hp) msrp starts from $153,000.

And mind you, this car has a steel chassis, so the material costs are not that high!

I do hope the tycoon part will be more advanced concerning costs than just production and material cost. As a company you of course also have management, R&D, marketing, real estate, taxes etc. I hope the devs will keep that in mind. Not even mentioning pay raises over the years for employers and increased costs for materials due to inflation.

How do i know if the engine's revving too high while cruising? Also, How do i know if there's too much road noise?

The answer to your first question would be looking at how many revs the engine would be running at when travelling in the 70-80 mph (110-130 km/h) in top gear. If it is something like 3000 rpm, in a petrol that is fine. 5000 rpm at 70-80 mph is not acceptable, however.

The road/wind noise thing is something that depends on sound insulation. If it is 0, you'll be getting a lot of it. If it is 100 then you won't hear it until well beyond cruising speed.

That's the thing, How do i find out the revs it's running in top gear at cruising speeds? The top gear only shows me the revs at maximum speed.

Take a look at the graph on the drivetrain tab. You can find the rpm of any gear at any speed by checking the yellow lines. To find the revs in top gear at cruising speeds, just look at the rightmost line and find the x-value for which it reaches the appropriate speed (y-value).

It is just like a normal graph, which has x and y axis, x is the values on the horizontal line, in the gearing graph it shows the speed. The vertical, y axis, shows the engine rotations.

These yellow lines don't tell me anything about the RPM at 100 KM/H. Automation should have something in "Detailed stats" that tells you the cruising rpm.

Each yellow line represents a gear and the speed at any rpm.
The bottom of the graph shows speed.

The game already shows it, there is no need for a detailed mode. The problem is your comprehension on graphics (or lack there of). Try to understand how graphs work, give it some thought, you'll figure it out.

It's not really the graph that is the problem. It's trying to find the cruising RPM, I can't use the yellow lines to find it.

I tried measuring the length of the top gear line and adding it to the others.

Does this cruise at 2000 RPM or lower?
