I thought about this and the simple answer is no. The reason being that while it is more difficult to make a car that qualifies, if not using a v8, it is still very possible to make a competitive car, in fact, sometimes more so, with smaller engines. I have one such example in my garage. It's up to you to find out how

I'm delighted to report that these cars are all unique and have different strengths (and eccentricities), so are likely to swap positions a lot between events. The bonus points go a long way to levelling the playing field. I haven't done any proper adding up yet or even ranked the entries, but it's going to be a nail biter!

P.s. a few people have considered doing an ff car but balk at the last minute... What if I told you the civic I'm entering as a benchmark was fast enough to beat most of you on most tracks?

P.P.S As the sole entrant in this contest with any entertainment whatsoever, accent gets to pump out tunes over the radio which might be rather enjoyable... if he could hear anything over the sound of the engine and complete lack of insulation!
