some issues concerning 1418 patch

hi
Really nice work u are doing and i really enjoy what u did till now and hope for more always.
i installed the 1418 patch but i have 5 things to ask for :
1st i don't have the 4x4 body but i have all other new bodies i guess.
2nd i don't have a 3 or 5 cylinders also no v6 , v10 , v12 engines.
3rd sometimes it says can not load engine because it is too big although i took the biggest body and tried v8 /6 liters engine with RWD position and i guess in real it should fit but in game it doesn't fit.
4th when i applied 1418 patch all of the old car designs are lost but i still have the engines and when i try to delete any of the them the game stops and i have to close it from the pc and start the launcher again.
5th i don't have a/c in the car luxury options ( i have power steering , ABS ....... etc).
Again really thank u for the great effort u are all doing to make us enjoy the greatest car game.

Re: some issues concerning 1418 patch

1. I'm not sure if a 4X4 body is even in the update (dev confirm?).
2. Those engines are not released yet. All we have for now are V8s, I6s, and I4s. They will be released before the game is fully released on Steam.
3. You can fit a 10.9L V8 in many bodies, even with AWD. The largest body may not have the largest engine bay.
4. Cars should stay compatible, what version did you update from? Your profile says you last posted in April, so if you are updating from B1362, they will get deleted. B1400+ should be fine.
5. You will never get an option for AC in the model designer. All that you will get is the packages that are available now, but perhaps they will come with descriptions. Adding an option for each creates an unnecessary level of micromanagement. What you see in terms of driver assists will stay, as they seem to be a worthwhile trade-off for the UI and gameplay.

Re: some issues concerning 1418 patch

Heyya!

1) As this is just a small interim update, the other bodies we've been working on come with the next big update, not all of them are done either.
2) No one has these engine types yet, they do only exist as calculations without graphics or sound, so nothing ready to release. Check out this video http://youtu.be/_CcFAQ-FGSc for more info about when stuff comes.
3) If it says the engine is to big then it probably is. The game checks the actual dimensions of the car's engine bay against what you want to put in and in what orientation. There may be bugs of course, but you would have to show us that.
4) With B1418 your car designs should only be lost when you upgraded from any version earlier than B14xx. Cars and models have changed too much since then to be able to keep them.
5) This has been discussed plenty of times in detail. A/C and stuff is in the various packages you can choose, more detailed options won't be put into the game as it's not a good game mechanic.

Cheers! (Ninjad by Jakgoe :D)
