So not 294.9 and not 300.1? My car is completed, but I just want to make sure I have complied with the rules. I've ruled out any competitive OHV, as I simply cannot get 4000cc OHV which can produce 295-300kW. (I didn't try turbo, because I absolutely suck with turbos) Best I could manage was 280kW (long, short, or medium stroke). The only way I managed to get past that point would reduce economy lower than 15% because of the 5 point limit.I'm actually really bummed about it, since I like to run OHV engines.
I used one of my mass produced V-8s, it's a 3.8L DOHC (I think), puts out about 390 horse stock, just slapped a race intake on it, 100 octane and bam, 402 horses.
