Original post edited, extended to 3rd of September due to lack of understanding, apparently.

Re: [TAKING APPLICATIONS] Automation Inline contest

I've sent my entry in under the team name of Forsinain. Yeah, I'm super mature :P http://tmoliff.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/f ... chaic.html

It goes past the end of the speedo at bonneville, so I cant say exactly how fast it goes there, but probably about 510kph, a tiny bit shy of its ultimate top speed of 530kph

Ok sorry for taking forever! :?
The results are here, finally (All speeds were rounded to the nearest whole MPH).

1st: Forsinain w/ a top speed of 282MPH!
2nd: Centauri w/ a top speed of 254MPH!
3rd: Camoria w/ a top speed of 166MPH! (Don't worry, you won in the 1/4 mile :D)

What do you win, you ask? Here: http://bit.ly/1CB4WyB

Thanks for competing, I hope you join again if I host another competition.

Re: [OVER] Automation Inline contest

Surprised I won by such a big margin, I was expecting to have people right on my tail at the very least. Its a shame there were only the three of us competing, but I think everyone was distracted by the car tycoon challenge and just didn't notice this competition.

Re: [OVER] Automation Inline contest

Perhaps. Personally, the CTC looks a little too complicated for my tiny mind.

Re: [OVER] Automation Inline contest

I was going to participate. I made a car thinking the 50 prod unit was for the engine only. I given up because the regulations weren't clear enough.
Felt like my work was wasted. The CTC is as clear as it can be, we even got provided test results to have some guidelines to what works and what doesn't.
But like in everything. The success of something depends on how you work for it. If you don't put your time into it. Why would people put their time into it?
